In groups, select one event then establish a minimal factual summary corresponding to a mere press dispatch. Each group should then develop the information and relate it as a quality newspaper or a tabloid would, using the following guidelines: For a tabloid " Try to find a catchy title. (Use exclamations and humour,resort to exaggeration if need be). " Find pictures and write catchy captions for them. " Include some familiar words or expressions. " You may exaggerate or give information you don’t really know about or are not sure of. " If celebrities are involved make them the central characters of the story. For a quality newspaper. " Remain neutral in the title. " Be careful with the level and correctness of language. " Try and be objective, do not exaggerate or invent elements.
